Vanessa cracks me up. She is featured on Channel 7's new song as backing vocals... the song is funny. I love how they worked in the piano components in the middle. On a more interesting note, i went through a bunch of Celebrity Playlists last night in iTunes and Kanye has Vanessa Carlton - ATM on his list... weird.

I also added some new songs to my iTunes collection last night which is now getting quite extensive... I am at 3798 songs.

This was a good week for TV... 24 started it's 6th season. It was a great start. Kiefer was awesome with how he portrayed a broken man struggling with all the crazy stuff that has happened to him. Then this week was also The Office which was seriously an awesome episode. You have to check out this clip from last weeks episode. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Then we had a part 2 episode on Grey's Anatomy! It was so sad :( I am glad they have taken a break on all the drama tho, the poor little characters need some time off.

I've been sick for a few days with a cold. I think it is due to the fact that i was wearing myself down last week with working long hours. I am trying to rest up this weekend and get better before next week.

So i was checking pointed to the youtube wonder esmee denters and heard her cover of irreplaceable. I thought the song was interesting, sorta funny lyrics but whatever. So i went to check out the original by Beyonce and then wasn't really impressed but if you watch her performance like on TRL you can see everyone singing and making hand gestures for the "to the left to the left" parts, kinda cool. It must be amazing for an artist to be on stage and either a) hear everyone singing along then b) have them making the "proper" hand gestures. amusing. btw, the video by beyonce is lame as hell. Beyonce also has an all chick band, very interesting.

Long week at work and bday party in Ukiah this weekend. I need to find something more interesting to post about... Jordan and Tatiana rock :)

Good Bye 2006

It was quite a year for me. I have now been living in California for over a year again. It's really odd because at least once a week someone is confused about my being "back in California." I swear, everyone thinks i am an east coaster!

Work has been really good. I've been learning a lot and i swear i have the best team working for me. We run the VoIP network and do a damn good job at it. We are constantly improving what we do but have really laid out some good ground work. It is very tricky scaling and improving a network and trying to remain conservative with spending money but still improving the network to be highly redundant. We are faced with many challenges weekly working in a corporate environment with other departments but we overcome them.

I took some cool trips the beginning of Dec... got to see JagStar and BeeVee. I really like the ferry boats in Seattle however the weather is sorta on my shit list :)

Maybe i'll get better about posting more consistently? or maybe not.... we'll see
